Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
This policy explains how billing, cancellation and refunds work for Kassia subscriptions sold by GY Capital Group LLC. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Plans and prices
| Plan | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $29.00 / month | $290.00 / year |
| Desk | $119.00 / month | $1,190.00 / year |
| Desk Pro | $249.00 / month | $2,490.00 / year |
Prices are in US dollars. An annual plan costs ten times the monthly price. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. When you choose a plan, we show you its price, how often it renews and how to cancel, and ask you to agree to automatic renewal before you pay. Before an annual plan renews, Kassia reminds you in the app of the renewal date and price; monthly plans get the same reminder once a year.
Professional subscribers on Desk or Desk Pro also pay a professional data fee of $45.00 a month ($540.00 a year on annual billing), because exchanges charge more for a professional’s real-time data. It is billed with the plan, renews with it and ends with it. When the plan is changed, or ended early with a refund, the fee is prorated the same way as the plan.
Free trial
- Every new account whose account application is approved starts with a 7-day free trial. No card is needed. One trial per account. The trial is read-only: it shows every view the Desk Pro plan includes, with market data delayed by at least 5 minutes, and allows a few questions to Kassia each day, but placing, logging or importing trades, the paper trading account, linking a broker account and changing trading rules require a paid plan.
- If you joined the early-access waiting list at kassia.ai, an account created with the same email address joins the free Private Preview instead of the free trial. The Private Preview is never charged; it includes the features of Desk Pro with market data at least 15 minutes behind the market and no live orders, and it lasts until we end it, as the Kassia Customer Agreement describes.
- When the trial ends, choose a plan to keep using Kassia. Until you do, your account and history are kept but the app is paused. If you have not chosen a plan, nothing is charged.
- If you choose a plan during the trial, your card is saved at Stripe and first charged when the trial ends. If fewer than two days of the trial remain, the first charge is two days after you subscribe. Cancelling before then means you are never charged.
Cancelling a paid subscription
You can cancel at any time in Kassia under Profile → Plan & billing. Cancelling stops your plan from renewing. You keep full use of it until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. Until then you can restart the plan, or switch to another plan, in the same place. When the period ends, the app is paused until you choose a plan; your account and history are kept. The rest of a period you cancel during is not refunded. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.
Two exceptions end your plan straight away and refund the unused part of your current billing period, prorated to the time remaining, to the payment method you paid with:
- You delete your Kassia account.
- You do not accept a material change to our Terms of Service. Email info@gycapital.net and we will end your plan and refund you.
Kassia message packs
A message pack (250 extra Kassia messages for $12.00) is a one-time purchase. Its messages expire when your plan’s monthly allowance resets at the start of the next calendar month (UTC). A pack is not refunded once any of its messages is used. When you cancel your plan, we refund any pack you have not started to the payment method you paid with. A pack you buy after cancelling that is still unstarted when your plan ends is refunded then.
Changing plans
- Upgrading (to a higher plan, or monthly to annual): we charge the prorated difference for the rest of the current period straight away.
- Downgrading (to a lower plan, or annual to monthly): we refund the prorated unused amount to your original payment method.
- After cancelling: choosing a plan before your cancelled plan ends restarts your subscription, and it renews as usual.
Refunds are always based on the amount you actually paid, after any discount.
When refunds arrive
Refunds go back to the original payment method only; we cannot send them anywhere else. They usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. You get an email receipt for every charge and every refund.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we email you and retry it. Your access pauses until the payment succeeds. If it still cannot be collected after the retries, the subscription ends. Nothing is refunded for a period that was never paid.
Questions or billing problems
If a charge looks wrong, please email info@gycapital.net before disputing it with your bank. Most billing problems can be fixed directly, and faster than a chargeback.
